It was a new day with a little bit of disappointment dat was carried forward from my bday. I went to school as usual, met my friends and some greeted me happy bday, thanks to you all, and also thanks to all those who greeted me in my facebook and also sms me, i never expected to received that many greetings. So thanks to you all.

So to continue my story, everything was as usual until the 30 min break, i received my first present from Francine and Shirley, a girlish plastic bag which inside was:

a toy model of SHE-Ella, i was really happy, even though it's not complete. So they told me it is the only one they can get. They expect me to be disappointed somehow but i am happy seriously. So time passed and i am eager to go home to have a good look of the present. Then until lunchtime...

we went to Giant's KFC and lunch dere, again everything was as usual. We had our lunch and then chit chat a bit. I went shopping with Isma after eating leaving the rest still at KFC, then when we came back. Everyone starts acting weird and Shirley asked me to sit next to her and said they are going 2 sing me a birthday song which really got me red, LOL. After songs and all those, they said they got somemore present for me, i was scared lol, cos i thought it must be sumtin weird. How can they fool me, it is usually the other way round. But who knows, it really got me speechless after i saw the present. I was overjoyed when i saw the present. It is:

the other two of SHE- Selina and Hebe. OMG, they got me a complete set, something that i had been looking for and unable to find it and i got it for my birthday present. Seriously man, i dunno how stupid my reaction was at that time but i am really really happy and well, at last sumtin lucky happen to me after all those unluckiness happened earlier. It was the best present i ever received, so thanks Shirley and Francine!!! It's a wonderful addition to my collections. So kantong lol.

Finally and Sigh...

Finally i am able to update my blog after leaving it for soooooo long. It's not cos i gave up on it, but too many things happen in dis year 2009. Too many BAD things which i am really tired already. That is why sigh...

I got my monitor and modem damaged before and then not long after that, i got involved in an car accident which got my bumper flew away. After that was settled, without any reason, my cpu broke down. Then again after my cousin lend me his cpu while mine was sent to fix, my telephone line got damaged and this makes me unable to connect to internet so i can't do research for my presentation which really got me worried. But too bad, all those stupid things doesn't stop here, it continues even further, i kept losing money during new year and what's worse is that during my birthday, all friends that i invited didnt turn up at all, not even one. It's an non-halal bbq dats y i did not invite my malay friends, i should have invited them and make it halal, or else it wont turn out like this.

So my 'Swayness' continue one after another after another and after another, i am really tired already, i hope all these unluckiness will just stop here and good things shall happen... I wish...

Fastest Miri Trip

I was surprised by my cousin today that he just came back from Australia yesterday and asked me to accompany him to Miri again today morning. So i did, just because i wanted to go there to get my S.H.E discs that i ordered from a shop in Miri that day.

It's great getting to meet my best cousin after i did not see him for so long. What's better is that the discs just arrived yesterday at the shop too. So i finally got it. WOOOOOOOO... The shop's tauke is a great guy. Helping me to order my dvd and then still offer a little bit to a whole number amount. So if anyone looking for any cds or dvds. You can go to Miri cd shop at Parkson, called "ByStar". The boss is a nice guy with specs and mustache.

I just purposely went down just to take my dvd only. After that, we did not do any shopping at all, go there drop my cousin-in-law, take my dvd, go to my aunt house then go back. LOL... It's a tiring ride but it's worth lo.

And also, the dvd version is the one which records all the concert, in another word, it has graphics one, not just sound.

Yesterday was a bad day. A real bad bad unlucky day for me. Just one day after i bought my new hi-fi system, spending over $200, i got another 'electronics failure' which then again cost me a fortune. DAMN...

My computer monitor blew yesterday, and so as my modem. The stupid lightning strikes again. Destroying many appliances including my uncles' astros and tvs. As for my house, i am the only one suffer. LOL.

So today i spend yet another $210 on an 20" LCD monitor and also a new modem which is $68 and to be included in the monthly telephone bill. I know right, damn sway ah. But think positively, if all these never happen, i will never change my monitor, so i guess if the old one don't go, the new one don't come. Bo pian la, i desperately need internet for some reason so i have 2 'invest' some money unwillingly LOL... I hope a small fortune output will result in an input of a bigger fortune. So i will try harder lo.

S.H.E Madness

Today, no i should say yesterday cos i noe i will not be able to finish typing all these before 12 so, yesterday was the first time this year i got things i ordered from ebay. It is also the first time i paid tax for the item i ordered. I never knew that you need to pay tax for cds but nvm, it's not really expensive though, only 5% of the price of the item. Overall, i am happy that i got my cds cos these two which i ordered from HongKong:

I have to say that it cost me a fortune for all these cds and dvds but i am really happy about getting them all cos this means that my collection is near completion now. And most importantly, a collection of S.H.E cannot be complete if there is no hand-signed autograph and also attending a live concert. This i hope one day i can get.

2008 Rewind and 2009 Forward

This is the first blogging of the new year. I know it's a bit late but still i wanted to share with everyone what i had been through in year 2008. I should say it's quite an interesting year, i learned many new things and some really makes me put hardwork and passion into it, opening a new path to my interest. So far in 2008...

- I worked for the first time for my SWE attachment.
- I started my own blog.
- I have my own car.
- I started to buy things online.
- I started a new hobby.
- I expanded my collections.
- I have new plans for 2009.
- I had a sudden interest in learning and improving my Chinese.
- I completed something which i wasn't able to do so earlier.
- I went to Kuching and got many things which i love.
- And of course i am trying hard to achieve my goals.

That's all i can remember for now. If you know something i don't remember then please do remind me.

With 2008 gone and the arrival of 2009, like i said i have new plans for the year of ox. There are many things i wanted to do but don't feel like telling anyone, not until i succeeded in achieving it. Cos i don't need someone who does not appreciate what i am doing, criticizing or taking it as a joke. So for now it should remain like it should be now.

What i can share is that i have many things that i wanted to get this year. I wanted...

- a hi-fi for music in my room.
- a display case for my collections.
- a bookshelf for my novels and books.
- a keyboard.
- a new harddisk.
- a PS3 only if pirated discs are available.
- new curtains which suit my room color.
- another trip to somewhere together with my friends.
- more to my collections.
- to improve on 'that' i am doing.
- to expand my room if possible.

That is quite a lot to achieve i think. Some are optional but others i will definitely get it. I wanted a new life, i wanted a new me. WOOOHOOOOOOOOO~~~ 2009 HERE I COME!!!

Once again sorry, i did not post on Sunday, neither on yesterday. On Sunday, internet was a bit laggy, i mean VERY lagging. But this is Brunei, so what do you expect right? This will be final blogging for this year. 2008 is near the end, its a real beginning on 2009. A lot happened in 2008, so far so good i would say. First i would like to apologise to those who visited my blog on thursday to read comics. I did not update on that day cos i am really busy doing something. And also if you are here today for my blogging about food, then i am sorry once again, i wanted to blog about something else today so you can check back tomorrow, i will post about it tomorrow.

You know, i waited for this day for so long already, the end of my SWE work attachment!!! YAHOO~ After today i am free for one month, which i really need cos i am planning to do something. Something la...

Like i said, today is my last day on attachment, i received a certificate from the Ports Department, this one:

I am glad that i got the certificate cos not everyone on attachment in other organisation got it. And i would like to thank those who taught me things while i am on attachment and also those who care for me.

Other than this, i would also like to congratulate my cousin, Edda engaging to the one she loved. And thanks for the engagement dinner.

So overall today is a busy day, so as tomorrow. So as the day after tomorrow and also the day after tomorrow tomorrow, and so on. LOL

Updated Spawn list

Since i bought the Spawn i.043 last time, I've now taken it down from my most wanted toy list, and in fact i uploaded a few more spawns picture, making them my new target. Chances are very low though cos all three are super duper rare. From which two of the three, are limited edition with the creator's signature.

First, Spawn the beginning, limited to only 1500 figures in the world, half of it being signed. This figure is a historical piece cos it is made according to the first ever spawn comic, which is the beginning as the name explained itself, the beginning of the spawn era.

Then similarly, also limited edition, but only for 1000 pieces in the world, and once again similar, half of it signed and another half without. This figure is definitely badass.

As for this figure, nightmare spawn, it is not as rare as the previous two but it is a hard-to-get figure. Usually, a normal spawn figure can be bought at bout B$25 from e-bay but this figure is 3x more expensive or sometimes with even higher bid. The price gets higher everytime it is put up on e-bay.

Finally, the figure spawn i.109............................................. The figure speaks for itself.

Honey Garlic Chicken for a special event

Have you ever tasted Pizza Hut's grilled chicken wings, those which are over $1 for only half of the chicken wing? Yes, it's really expensive, but fear not. If you want to taste it, then why not try my recipe here, i won't say it's exactly the same as Pizza Hut, but it is almost identical, or even better!

Today's Saturday and as promised i am posting something about food, be it introducing nice dishes tasted somewhere, or some recipe i made up myself. What's better is that tomorrow is the biggest day for Chinese, i don't know what the festival is called but you should know what i mean. So, why not try making this for the event.

First let me explain about the sauces:
you need to separate the sauce into two parts; one for marinade and another for coating. In another word, marinade is for before cook while coating is for after cook.

But before i go further, there is one special ingredient i would like to show, that is the teriyaki sauce. This sauce can only be found at the supermarket below the mall. Cos so far, that's the only place i saw it. Don't even try Hua Ho, i search at so many Hua Ho but yet i never spotted one. This is how it almost looks like:

Notice that i said ALMOST, cos the one i used does not have the label-"roasted garlic" and instead of the label-"with" inside the gold oval shape, the one i bought is labeled "Thick".

Important: you must buy the teriyaki sauce like the one above with the label-"Thick" cos otherwise, you will get a watery teriyaki sauce which is unfit for grilling.

Ingredients:

Sauce for marinade
Teriyaki Sauce
little bit of honey
little bit of salt
black pepper
garlic powder

Sauce for coatings
Teriyaki Sauce
lots of honey
black pepper
garlic powder
finely chopped garlic
few drops of cooking oil or butter (optional)
garlic soy sauce (optional)

Steps:
1. Cut the skin where the joint meets, so that you can stretch the chicken wings when grilling.

2. Marinade the wings with the marinade sauce mentioned above. (The reason why only a small amount of honey is added is just to have the chicken absorb the aroma and also adding too much honey in such early stage will make the skin black and burnt due to the sweetness)

3. Grill the wings with oven or anyhow you like, until the wings are about 85% cooked, then use a brush to coat the chicken wings, as much as possible but enough for all and then put it in again for grilling.

4. Make sure while brushing, the chopped garlic should be stick to all wings so that it will taste better and with stronger aroma.

5. Garnish with a little bit of sesame seed and black pepper if you like after taking out. Then ready to be served.

Tips:
The grilling time depends on what kind of oven you use, if you use a direct fire oven, then i would say 10 mins should be enough. But if you use a heat or microwave oven, then it should be about double the time of direct fire.

Just in case you don't know how to judge whether it is cooked or not, you can use a stick to poke into the thickest part of the wings head, if you can poke through it then it should be okay. Otherwise, you can use the stick to poke at the joint between the head and body of the wing, then look at the stick to see if it is still bloody.

Finally if you want it to be more glowy just to be more attractive, then you can crush rock sugar to be added to the coating sauce.

Note
If you can't get the teriyaki sauce i said, then you can replace it with the combination of abalone sauce with oyster sauce, with the proportion of 40:60

Recently i am quite busy doing my report for my SWE attachment. I wanted to finish it before holiday so i can enjoy my holiday. So far so good i should say, the report is more than halfway to completion. And what makes me even more happy is that my attachment working days are left with 5 days only. It's GREAT! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~

Today, something struck my mind. I have come to a decision that i should make a schedule for my blogging. In another word, i should set what to be posted on certain days. This way, i think its more organised. So this is what i had in mind:

Monday- Varies

Tuesday- Showcase my collections

Wednesday- Varies

Thursday- Random comics

Friday- Either a long post or no post at all

Saturday- Food

Sunday- No post usually

As you can see, on even days, i will post something up unless there is some reason stopping me to do so. As on Monday and Wednesday, i will post if i do have something to share with. On Friday, i usually c my mood, if i feel like blogging then i will make a long post or otherwise no post at all cos i need rest on public holidays too. But once again things may not be according to what i stated here. So do check my blog regularly.

Furthermore, i decided to put up a poll every Monday for voting, be it something silly as in for fun or something serious. Then the voting should end during Saturday night so that i can check the result on Sunday and then create yet another poll on Monday.

Chinese Novels anyone?

Hi everyone, i just wanted to ask you if you have any nice chinese novels to introduce? Cos i would like to read some chinese novels, never try reading at all. Also trying to improve my chinese. So if you have any good book to intro, i don't need you to borrow me, just tell me the name and show a picture of it if you have a picture.

And please, i don't want horror novels. They are boring no matter in what language. Horror stories are nice but horror novels are not. It's just too long.

Sorry for the delay but as i promised, here it is, the post which should've been posted yesterday. The one of spawn model which i wanted the most due to the big size with detailed carving and cool posture with maximum extension of the wonderful cape. Spawn i.043:

This is so far the most expensive spawn i've bought @ B$169.80 on e-bay including postage fee if i've not mistaken. It's sent be priority mail which takes 2 weeks to arrive to Brunei from US, which is considered fast, so charges is high.

Despite the high cost, i think i am quite lucky to get it cos it's very rare to find now. Not even in KL i am able to find it. It also extremely rarely to appear on e-bay. In 5 month i only see it once in ebay which is also the one i bought. Afterall, it is one of the top three in popularity in spawn toys.

The huge base acting as support to the heavy spawn. It is about 4x bigger than usual base.

The difference in size is quite obvious in these pictures. The smaller spawn here is 6" inches while it is stated that the big spawn is 12" inches, but if you measure the cape from tip to end, it will become the tallest and largest spawn ever produced for sale.

Dad is? and Mom is?

Today's a great day for me, the long anticipated model that i look very forward to has finally arrive. Yesterday i called the post office to track for the item and they say it's not here yet, then this early morning i received a call from the post office that it's here.

How is that possible?

Cos the letter arrived this morning at home around 9.30am which means that the item should already been there for few days, just that they haven't issue the letter card for collecting the item. So that means yesterday i called, they did not even check it for me and simply reply saying that "don't have."

Whatever... I am just glad that i got it today, i can't even wait till i get home to see it. Instead, i went home to take the card and went to collect it myself. However, as expected if i do that i will suffer from continuous blabbering; not by my mom but my dad. He is worse than a female, but i am used to it already. It's always him who always "sing" to me cos i think he don't understand me like my mom did. He don't understand my passion for my collection.

My mom knows what i like and what i don't. She gives comment to my toy model collection, whether that it is nice or not instead of just saying it's a waste of money which my dad never miss saying.
My mom knows i like SHE, she will ask me to watch them in tv if i didn't know and also helps to find people who are going oversea if i wanted to ask them to help buy new SHE album. My dad on the other hand, always and i mean ALWAYS complain whenever SHE are on the screen. He always say they behave childishly, he never let me watch them in peace, always complaining.
My mom knows i like cooking, she let me cook as long as i said i will be the one cooking on a particular day. Sometimes she help me out too. My dad ah, sigh... complains again everytime i cook; not on taste but say everytime i cook, it is a mess. Never clean the dishes...

Then there are many more lagi ah. Lazy to type. Actually today's post shouldn't be about these, LOL. But nvm, it makes one extra post for me. I post regarding my new model 2molo then.

Brunei's Animal Shelter

When i am browsing through blogs today, i found one very ...... erm.... how do i say? a warm-hearted blog i guess. You know i have read that a lot of people were complaining in Borneo Bulletin, about those homeless animals.

Many commented that they are harmful to the society and suggested all should be poisoned or even worse, knocked hard in the head to death, especially to dogs. I don't think i need to state the reason why it is especially dogs cos you should have already understand why. That's all BULLSHIT!!! Why do you have to apply such cruelty to something that have life just like us human. But of course there were also many people defending those poor animal, these people deserve others respect. They treat every life with respect and care. Try to learn from them!

One day trip to Miri

First of all, i would like to apologize to those who always follow my blog, for not updating the blog for so long. Cos last few weeks i had been haunted by all sort of sickness- sickness after sickness. I dunno why too. Other than that, i am also a bit tired and lazy to update it but i am not deserting my blog, just that i am taking a small rest lol. So today i am back to blog bout my trip to Miri.

Actually there is not much to mention cos it's only one day. All i wanted to buy and also bought are just 2 items; that is a FM/MP3 modulator and also an old SHE concert cd. Both adding together cost Rm 100 sharp.

This is the SHE cd that i bought:

It is an 'old' cd distributed in 2006. Why didn't i buy it earlier??? I also don't know. I knew about the cd but i just don't understand why i did not buy it earlier. It's definitely not cos of money, cos i never have second thought about buying SHE album no matter what the price is. Probably it is because i thought a concert cd will be very noisy due to shouting fans, that may be the reason.

Well, whatever the reason is, i have it now- a superb set of cds definitely worth buying. I bought it for only Rm 40. The price is very fair for 2 cds and a dvd.

Listening to the cds just gave me goosebumps after goosebumps, especially the songs of 爱呢，花都开好了 and belief. When the music just started, it gives u a very touching feel without any reason. Everytime when i listen i get goosebump. In 'belief', at the part where hebe raise her tone and pull, it makes me feels like crying. It's true. To me her voice is just heavenly. I know some will criticize but that's what i think and feel, if anyone disagree, it's their own problem.

Am i advertising? yes i am cos it's worth introducing. I know u might think that i said it is worth buying cos i am a fans, you are definitely wrong. Buy it and you will understand why. Don't come borrow it from me, i don't borrow any of my SHE collection to anybody. I never lent to anyone except once to someone who i also paiseh not borrowing cos he oledi asked and i used to always follow his car to school. Hahahah... you know who you are right?

Other than those SHE things, as i said i bought an mp3 modulator in Miri for my car. I came back then found out it is damaged, WTH!!! Everytime i poked it into the cigarette ligher place the fuse blow. So i have to spend another B$6 for fuses and B$10 for repair. Sigh...

I haven't blog for a few days. That is because i was rushing to watch One Piece, i can't stop continuing to watch an episode after another and then again and again. The anime is great, should be the best i think.

Another reason is i am still thinking about the buying of the model which i mentioned earlier. I finally decided to buy it cos originally i felt like buying it and after more people suggesting me to buy it too, i will buy it!!! People who i do not expect to ask me buy actually asked me buy, so i felt more encouraged LOL.

Nvm about that for now, the "judgement day" will be at 10 night tomorrow. Whether i win the bid or not will now depend on luck. As for now, i am also lazy to post anything so i will just post more of those stupid comics. It's not easy to find this comic which i think is quite funny, i have to read over thousands of those comics and choose some which i think worth posting to be shown here. So here it is, hope you enjoy reading...

"To buy or not to buy? That's the question."

The above question is meant for myself. I am pretty confused on what to do now. It's like this, I have always been looking for this particular spawn figure online but my search always ends up fruitless.

This is the figure i had been searching for a long time- model i.043(also stated in my most wanted model wishlist)

After all this time, it never appear anywhere. But today, when i was browsing through E-bay cos i was bored, i NOTICED it was just put up for bidding. I was happy yet sad. That is because it came up at a wrong time... Why? Because i have just started to save money this month for the upcoming trip to Kuching. Cos i estimated that two months allowance of B$600 will be enough for the spending during the trip, not including the air fees.

Now there is where the problem occur. There is a model which i have been looking for a long time and love it, probably the one i most look forward to own now. The current starting bid is at around B$77, which i think will rise to about $150 excluding postage in a few days cos of it's rare. I know that i will regret forever if i let this opportunity slip away. Then on the other hand, i had been eating economy meal everyday with my friend during lunchtime to save money for my first-time experience to ever board a plane after 21 years. I wanted it to be memorable although it is not somewhere far or special. Afterall it is a first time experience.

So what should i do?
Buy it and keep worrying? OR Don't buy it and end up regretting?
I still have 6 days to make my decision before the bid ends. I asked my friend and he said buy it. I asked my mom and she said buy it and not go the trip or she will buy it for me if she kena 4D 2nite, LOL.

Spawn V Urizen

Yesterday there was a blackout for about 3 hours so that is why there is no update. And also this post is supposed to be posted earlier, before the Nippon Maru Part 2 but....... Whatever, here it is today:

Today i am showing yet another spawn collection of mine, in fact it is the latest spawn addition to my collection. I bought it the same day i complained about the One Piece toy, cos of the reason stated in my previous post few days ago, i changed my target to this, a boxed-set Spawn V Urizen:

The landscape, and also the battleground of two monsters.

The giant double-bladed scythe used by Urizen.

This is also the smallest spawn ever created standing at only 2 inches tall.

Despite all those great features and also the nice green necroplasma shot and also the green blood of Urizen spilling out, this boxed deluxe figure is not a famous or well-liked figure. The reason for that is, according to the vast internet comment, a lot of people dislike spawn being unmasked, which the spawn in this set is. That is why it is not one of the highest seek figure, instead it become one of the least favorite deluxe boxed edition of spawn.

However, i like this figure, doesn't matter spawn is unmasked or masked, i still like it very much as long as it is a production of McFarlane named Spawn.

The Nippon Maru Part II

Actually today i am not going to post anything, but something unexpected happened so i can't help but log on and post. Remember about yesterday post regarding the ship? The one that i said i wished to board. I finally got the chance to go into the Nippon Maru. YAHOOOOOOOOOO~~~ And i did!!!

I was so excited when i was informed that i was able to board the ship, when i was asked by my colleague who wants to go up the ship, i raised my hand and shouted,"ME! ME! ME!" So i immediately rushed to meet my friend. It's a great experience, me and my friend are so sakai, LOL... We took photos on and off board. I don't really like taking photos but this time is exception, cos like i said it's a lifetime opportunity.

So this is the first time i posted my own picture on my blog:

When entering the ship, we were all given stickers to stick on our clother to indicate ourselves as visitors. And when leaving, the stickers have to be return back in order to prevent others of re-using it to enter the ship. However i am lucky enough to bring out one cos i was given an extra when we entered so i kept one in my pocket. I get to keep it as a prove that i enter the ship before, hahahaha. The sticker looks like this:

That first shot above is nothing special, but it is a memorable one to show our sakainess, hahahahahahhha.

The picture above is the information about the ship, as you can see, the ship consist of 7 floors. That's the reason why we can't help being excited.

We toured from second to the seventh floors, but not the first floor. I don't know why though. There are a lot of facilities in the ship such as; assembly hall, dining hall, swimming pool, lots of rooms, posters and decorations area, also area where you can lie outside to get sun tan, and etc...

It is the one i like most even though my face looks big, LOL. At first i asked my friend to ask this lady who bring us to tour around, to take picture with us, but he said he malu. So i requested her to take a picture with me and she agreed easily. Actually i feel even more malu one but no choice, if he don't do it and i also don't then nobody will do it, and we will leave the ship just like that and never have the chance again. So i have to overcome the shyness to ask cos bopian, i like Japanese girls that is why i insist of taking picture with her to keep as a memento. Afterall, it is my first time taking picture with a real-life Japanese. Luckily Japanese people are very good-mannered and friendly, that is why i dare ask.

So that is almost the end of my story. We are indeed two of the luckiest attachment students, just like my friend said. We can board such special cruise ship. So before i end it, i wanted to thank those who ask for permission for us, attachment students to go on board. And also thank Zeing for the photos he took for me using his camera.

The Nippon Maru

This is the second part for the post today...

I saw a damn big ship, a cruise ship- The Nippon Maru, on November 6th, yesterday at Muara Port. The first thing came to mind is- "OMG, Titanic!" It's real HUMONGOUS. My friend, Zinc told me if we can go up and into the ship, then we are the luckiest attachment student of the year. So we both looked for a chance, asking our superior whether we can go or not. The answers we got are totally different. His boss said cannot but mine say can. Confusing right?

I really do hope i can get a glimpse of the inside of the ship. It is a lifetime opportunity man... You know, inside it's just a paradise, there is even a hotel inside as i was told, just like what you saw in television- the Titanic and the Poseidon. My superior even told me that it is not open to anyone. Only some Port Members and those who take in the passengers as family for 3 days during their stay in Brunei, can enter the gigantic ship. I took a couple of pictures of the ship but i cant take the whole ship cos of its length, so i break it up into parts.

The ship really interest me, so i look it up in the internet and found these:
Nippon Maru was built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Kobe, in 1990. She is 21903 gross tons. 166.6 metres long, and carries 607 passengers and 326 crew. Her speed is 18 knots. Nippon Maru runs both short and long cruises for the Japanese market.

I don't know how big the possibility is for me to board the ship, it will be leaving on the coming Monday so i really hope tomorrow i can get board it. I will try to ask for permission tomorrow. Hope i am lucky enough then. If i get in, i will take a lot of pictures to be posted in my blog, that is if i am allowed to take photos.

Instead of making a long post as i mentioned yesterday, i figured out that it is better for me to write in two different posts because the things i wanted to talk about is two different things. So this is the first part of today's post.

Originally, i wanted to post this only after i have bought the two other toy models i planned to buy earlier to accompany the other one i already had. But sadly enough, it was sold out already. So with just one, i don't have any reason to delay the post anymore.

However i did not, just because i am not satisfied with the Chinese salesgirl at Chong Hock Kiulap. The colour of the box of the toy is a little fade off because of exposure under the sun, and the box was opened before. I wanted to have a little check before buying just in case the colour of the toy is also off, so i ask whether can i open the box, which was as i said opened before, to check for damages. The girl refuses no matter how i explained to her. It pisses me off eh. That's bullshit. If it's new and never open, then i understand but it is not, OKAY!!! Well... since those toys are not fated to be mine, then just let it be.

However, even though i did not buy the One Piece models, i got something else instead. It will be mentioned in the next post.

DREAM

Tomorrow is Friday, so i will make a longer post cos usually i post more on Friday due to more free time. That is why today's post is going to be short. Here goes...

Have you ever had a dream which you hope that it is real? Well, i have, many times. I had one too yesterday night, it's about i finally got S.H.E to give me a signature on behind my shirt, pretty pathetic... but yet, too bad it's not real, or else it will be a great addition to my collection.

Pleasant dream really does make you love it as well as hate it. You can get whatever you want in a good dream, something that can hardly or even impossible for it to happen in the real world, that is why you should love it. However, you hate it for the fact that when you woke up, everything just vanish and what you get or see is not real, it's just an imagination.

I quoted this line from wiki:
"Dreams allow the repressed parts of the mind to be satisfied through fantasy while keeping the conscious mind from thoughts that would suddenly cause one to awaken from shock"

Today's post is nothing special, just that i feel like sharing my thoughts. It's pretty interesting and complicated how dreams are. Whether is it scary, fun, good or bad, i still like it. Afterall, it's another kind of adventure.

Full Course Meal

I am back with more of my cookings today. First of all, i wanted to clarify that i like buying cookbooks, but those are usually for a little guidance only, i do not usually follow exactly what it says. Moreover, the reasons i buy cookbooks are:

1)only if it is not really expensive
2)the pictures look really tempting
3)the ingredients are not too rare to find
4)buying just for the sake of buying it

This is the cookbook that i like the most, i bought it in Miri with a reasonable price i think for the quality inside.

Like i said earlier, i do not follow every ingredients and steps as the book teaches. That is because i believe there are some ingredients used that is not being stated. Not everyone want to fully share their recipe even if they publish cookbooks. Therefore instead, i prefer going to restaurant and taste their food then try to guess what they use for ingredients and then try it out on my own judgement, even i am wrong, i can still make some adjustment to make it taste good. On the other hand, i also enjoy watching cooking competition shows which the competitors go all out to be the winner. This way, they will give their best without keeping any secret ingredients, unlike some cooksbooks. Meanwhile, their skills and recipes are also being recorded for the shows, hence allowing the audiences to view all. Therefore it is a good way to learn cooking too.

The cooking show which i mentioned and also the one i watched many times is The Iron Chef(^Pic above^). It is definitely one of the most famous and best cooking show. I have downloaded almost all the episodes available- over 100+ episodes. The show goes like this, challengers get to choose who they wanted to battle with, out of the three chefs(Chinese, French and Japanese) defending the cooking arena(that's what they call it), then a theme will be set for each match, for example:- asparagus, then both sides must use asparagus as the main ingredients to produce as much dishes as they can and it will be then judge by 4 to 5 judges.

This whole table of foods were made by me alone in one day. My first time making a full course. That day wasn't any special day. I just felt like cooking a full meal, so i just told my mom i was going to cook for the night and she just agreed. So i did. Well, they always complain, not about the food but that i never wash my utensils after i cook everytime. I just defend by saying i cook for you all, you help me wash la~ Right?

S.H.E

S.H.E is one of the most popular female group artist from Taiwan. They are also one of the longest surviving idols in Taiwan for about 8 years with 11 albums up-to-date. That is probably due to that they are not some pretty-faces like a lot of idols today, they came out from singing competition, with Selina winning the contest while the other two reaching finals. They had also won a couple of golden melody awards and also many other awards. So they are what you called "More Than Meet The Eyes"- they are currently labelled by media as "The Number One Girl Group" But out of the three members, i like the Hebe the most.

The reason i started to like them is.........
One day few years ago, my sister was searching for posters of F4(pretty-faces, hahaha) from a magazine and then i saw S.H.E poster but don't know who they are at all. So i just took it and paste in my room. Then i decided to buy their album the next day, which is their second album. That is when i started to like them, immediately after i bought the second album, i went to buy the first and second combined vcd album the next day. Since then i started to collect their albums, hunting from Singapore and all over Malaysia- Limbang, Miri, Sarikei, Labuan, KL...

If you have ever visited my old room, you will see my previous madness regarding them, i have probably 50+ posters of them totally covering the whole of my room and still there are a lot more which i don't have anymore space to put up. i cut out different newspaper articles concerning them, buy anything with pictures of them. An act of crazy fans.

After such long backgrounds, it is time for me to showcase my collections of S.H.E

My biggest regret is that i have never watch their concert live and also i have never got their signatures. The closest they came to, was to Miri to have a mini concert about 6 years ago. That time i was so happy because my cousin wanted to bring me there so i beg and beg and beg my parents to let me have holiday for one day, JUST ONE DAY!!! It's a lifetime opportunity as a fan to watch them life. BUT They just won't allow, giving reasons like it won't benefit you, study is more important bla~ bla~ bla~ WHY WHYYYYYY can't they understand a teenager? Why can't they understand what i really want? Just one day won't kill ba, it will instead makes me super happy right. I was sooooo disappointed. My disappointment gets to the highest peak when the night, the same night S.H.E is holding their concert, my parents brought us the whole family to Chung Hwa Middle School to watch SIAO HEI... the indian singer who sings chinese from Malaysia. WHAT THE HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!! Disappointment up to maximum, Mood down to minimum. That day is no doubt one of the BIGGEST LETDOWN of my life.

Lastly, if you truly is a S.H.E fan, then you might have notice one special feature about their album. That is, the logo of clover is found in each and every albums for theirs; it's just that it is in different design. Too bad as for the newest-11th album, the trademark logo only appear in the Taiwan version of album.

Future plan of mine

Recently, i had been thinking about what i should do after i graduated from ITB. Should i carry on degree or should i work? What will i gain from getting a degree? It's not like i have no plan for future, in fact i do. I always wanted to have a business so i think why not start it small.

My plan is that after i finish ITB, i will work temporarily to get some income first, for lets say one year. Then after that i should use the money i have to rent a slot in the canteen at Chung Hwa and do a small business without needing lots of capital. If i cannot manage it then i can start degree again the next year. There is still time. I think about $5000 is enough to start. Don't underestimate that, if you had ever study in Chung Hwa, you will know how good business is.

Let me do some brief estimation for you:
Rent for space is $2000 every month including the need to pay for holiday time. This is what cause many to think that it is too unfair to do so.

Then let's assume utensils and other kitchenwares are $2000 which is quite a huge amount already cos you only need gas and few woks, plates... you don't need huge equipments like ovens.

Then the leftover $1000 you will use to employ a maid and buy foods. Good enough.

So now let me show you a few calculations:

People at the canteen sells chicken for $1 per piece. How much does one chicken cost? About $5 only. And how many pieces can you cut the chicken- 2 thighs, 2 wings, 2 drumsticks, 4 backbones, 4 breasts. These are just assumption.
So you got 14x$1-$5= $9(gross profit before deducting gas and cooking oil) That's a lot of profit for a chicken.

Then they also sell nuggets and balls(fishball, squidball, etc...) Purchasing price of a packet of nugget cost about $8, consisting of about 40 pieces. And the selling price? $1 for 3.
So you get 40/3x$1-$8= $5 gross profit

They too buy LoSan nasi lemak to be sold at canteen again. They buy $0.70 per pack and sold at $1 per pack, making it $0.30 net profit per pack. Imagine how many you can sell per day. Let's just put it a minimal amount at 50 pack per day so you get $15 profit without even doing anything much.

And most profitable is selling drinks which needs to add water; like sunkist orange, wheatgrass... You just buy one big bottle of it only at about $6. Then you add water and sell it cold at about $0.50 per cup. You know how many cups you can produce and sold. Again we take minimal amount. Let's assume we only sell 50 cups.
So you get 50x$0.50-$6= $19 net profit(not counting gas for boiling)

You see what i am trying to say? The profit seems small but actually it's not, this is a business strategy by selling at low price with high quantity sold. I forgot what it is called but income definitely overtake expenses. Accoring to my assumption, with more than 10,000 students, morning and afternoon. Assume only a quarter buy from you with $1 each. It makes $2,500. Then reducing all expenses, i assume that one day net profit will be at least $200 at worst, that means at it lowest. If business is good, a profit of far bigger figure is possible.

Money does not grow on trees. You don't get them, you earn them!

I have discussed about this plan a lot of time with my parents. I asked my dad to take the free space at the canteen but he just won't do it cos he said it's not worth that you still have to pay during holiday without doing business. While my mom always agree with me, supporting my suggestion and she said she will contribute too if i am to really do the business. I think i will in the future.

Don't think of failure before you even try investing, it's not a big investment or business. Every business has its own risk, so it doesn't help worrying too much. It won't cause bankruptcy... If it is not profitable, then how did all the others who were there for about 20 years survive so long until today? Makes sense right?

"La Mian"- the pulling noodles

After that disgusting post about spiders yesterday, today i am back with more introduction to good food i tasted in Brunei. Don't get me wrong, i am not making my blog a food blog. It is still the same as usual; introducing things i think is worth mentioning.

In Brunei, if you heard of 'La Mian'(pulling noodles), the first place you think of is probably going to be LaMee, the first ever 'La Mian' shop in Brunei. But for me, it is not. LaMee is a nice restaurant, no doubt about it but what i wanted to mention about is the small food corner inside Hua Ho on the upper basement in Hua Ho Manggis Mall.

Inside here, there is a stand where it sells 'La Mian', made by two chefs from China. There are varieties of noodles to choose from. All the noodles are at reasonable price which is quite cheap, ranging from $3 to $3.50 depending on what you choose, the quantity very satisfying- surely it will fill your stomach full tank.

Out of all the different noodles, i recommend "La Pan Mee with Lamb" the most. Cos the nice smell and taste of the lamb meat blend well along with the taste of different bell peppers. For more than 30 times i think i ate there, i ALWAYS order "La Pan Mee Lamb", i never change it cos it's just too good to change, until everytime i go, the chef will smile and know what i will order.

Another thing that i have to mention earlier before anyone go try it. That is ordering these noodles will be like a lucky draw. Because the vegetables added to the noodles are always changing, you never know what to expect. Sometimes you get bell peppers; maybe just one colour or all three colours, sometimes you get long beans instead, if you are lucky, you may get chinese cabbage, and etc... So you should understand by now what i meant by its like a lucky draw. It's good that way, you get to taste something 'fresh' or new once in a while.
NOTE: The sauce for the noodles is sometimes quite oily.

Long ago(well, not really that long, only a couple of years ago), when 'La Mian' first existed in Brunei, i can't resist of trying to also make them. Nobody teach me how to make it so i just tried it randomly without any knowledge of how to make it. That's how cooking supposed to be right? It's an experiment.

The look is ok i guess but the taste is quite bland. It still has smell of flour, it is not "Q"(elastic) at all. It just doesn't taste right. Only after that i learned that i did not use "Gee" which is a neccessity for making noodles because it makes them pull-able and extend. Too bad, all the noodle i made, i dumped it. But the leftover flour which i already used, i did not waste it, i turned them into:

See how wonderful cooking are, one failure leads to another success as long as you dare try.

So there you go~ Try the 'La Mian' at Hua Ho and you will notice the difference as compared to the one at LaMee. Decide for yourself- which one taste better.

Eight-legged freaks

Today's post will be a little different as usual. Usually i talk bout things that i like, but now this is about something i dislike and FEAR~~~

I had a long chat with my cousin today at work in MSN, he asked me,"You know what..." It makes me very curious and then he said at his house in Australia now, there is a very poisonous spider in the electric circuit. WHAT THE HELL!!! He also provided me a couple of pictures of it.

Yup, the white round balls are the eggs. If you not already know, Australia has unquestionably some of the most dangerous species of spider, the well-known Black Widow is one of those. But the spider above is not Black Widow, but some red ass spider. But surely it's poisonous.

Actually i have a fear for spiders, yes Arachnophobia. This is what i found online regarding the symptom.

Symptoms of spider phobia:

Seeing a spider or only thinking about a spider can result in the following symptoms:
breathlessness, dizziness, excessive sweating, nausea, dry mouth, feeling sick, shaking, heart palpitations, inability to speak or think clearly, a fear of dying, becoming mad or losing control, a sensation of detachment from reality or a full blown anxiety attack.

Out of those, i experienced inability to speak, dry mouth... other than that, i also feels like my hairs are tingling like spiders moving on my body, so i supposed i really do have arachnophobia. I must have the spider i saw, DEAD or else i will have sleeping problem at night usually.

I wonder whether Brunei is selling this or not, cos i would be 1000000% positive in getting one. Did you read the description in the above photo? 6 months WITHOUT spiders after spray. That's just heavenly!!! Please if anyone saw it anywhere in Brunei, inform me bout it. Cos it may not be possible to ask my cousin to bring it to Brunei, it may not pass the custom due to it is a kind of chemical.

That's about all, but before i finish the post, i would like to say that i too had seen some weird spiders. One of it was at Trusan, my old kampong in Malaysia. I saw a really big and i mean really BIG one, bigger than my palm, no kidding. I don't know the name though, it paralyze me immediately when i saw it but it was killed by my cousin(the same guy i mentioned above) Or else...

POOL is the game

Before i start, i would first like to apologize for not keeping the promise of posting yesterday. The reason is due to sudden unexpected happenings. That is why i blog early today.

First of all, my mom always nag me for not doing any sports. Who said so, i did but it's just that it is indoor sport. I like to play pool (billiard not swimming pool) and also watch it on TV. So i am kind of like a fan to this sport. The player i idolized is a Taiwanese professional pool player, nicknamed "the Son of Pool"- Yang Ching Soon (楊清順):

Therefore, as a pool fan, you should see why this collection of mine will be valuable and precious to me.

Once again before i carry on, i would like to emphasize a bit on Brunei. As many people should know, Brunei is a very peaceful country but also in my point of view, it is a weird country in a way that they always do something really UNEXPECTED; such as sudden lifting the ban of selling fireworks, inviting Michael Jackson or Jacky Cheung to Brunei for a concert, etc... Well, maybe that is what the phrase- "Kingdom of Unexpected Treasure" suppose to mean.

You might ask why i wanted to talk about Brunei? The reason is that i am really happy Brunei also did something i did not expect, and that is inviting some of the world's best pool player to Brunei for a mini competition. What makes it even more better is that ITS FREE OF CHARGE to watch!!! I went to the events i think twice out of the three times it was held in Brunei in year 2005, 2006 and 2007, if i had not mistaken.

Fortunately and unfortunately, i had watch my favorite player play live in the stadium but never have the opportunity to get close to him. The security was a bit tight.

However one night during the event in 2007, all the players are not guarded and instead they are sitting in the audiences' seats with some of their friends in Brunei. So i seek this opportunity to approach all those international best players and got these:

All pool fans should have know who these heavyweights are. Too bad i did not get to get signature from Yang Ching Soon because he did not join during that year, i wish in the future i will get it.

It is real interesting for these "stars and signatures" hunting. I was like scanning through all spectators and find where they are sitting. I approach Wu Chia Ching last immediately after his match, where he points to an open area signaling he will sign there, in order not to affect the other matches carrying on. I was so nervous and was shaking when approaching them to ask for signatures cos nobody did ask for signatures. I am the one who started then everyone saw what i did and follow. The players are all very friendly, they sign with a smile and even say thank you. That's real sportsmanship.

Everyone who read my blog should have already knew that i collect spawn models. People think that i only collect a more male, teenager type of models. However, it is not because i am certainly interested in other type of displays which looks nice too. In another word, i collect almost anything except for vehicles type of models like; sport cars, motorcycle, etc... Maybe it's a bit weird that a guy does not like cars, unlike others. That's the way i am!

This is a present from my friend during my 18th birthday. A zodiac of rabbit which is exactly my Chinese Zodiac. It is really nice to be able to receive presents which i can collect and display. So that is why i wanted to post this seperately:

A "MUST GO" foodstall

If you live in Brunei but never heard of this place then X
If you ever go bandar but never go this stall then X
If you like to eat ABC but never try at this stall then X
If you ever went there but never taste the ABC then X

Where and what am i talking about? Of course i am talking about "Mei Kwang Food Stall" in Chinese (not sure what the Malay name is but will check it out). It is located at Bandar Seri Begawan just beside Ang's Hotel and Hong Kong Bank. It is a 'Halal' food stall so even Muslims can try it out.

Everytime i go there, the first thing i do is not sit down and call for the waitress. I go straight directly to the guy who make ice. I call him Uncle ABC(pictures of him show below). He is such a great guy that he always remember his customers and also remember what their usual order is. For instance, when i go to him without saying anything, he will smile and say, "Ya i know, ABC don't want red bean, and want lots of corn." I don't even have to open my mouth and he will immediately know what i want, sort of like body language you get it?

So very luckily today i get to go there once again after not going there for more than one year. I went with Zeing who i should thanks cos he is fine with me wanting to go Mei Kwang all the way from Muara. As usual i ordered ABC and that is what i want to introduce to all my readers.

As you can see, the ABC looks great and it definitely taste great. All 7 kinds of different fillings(fruits and jellies) will be added. Lots of 'Gula Melaka' and evaporated milk will also be added to make the taste even better. Uncle ABC is also very generous in giving lots of fillings. It only cost $1.50 per bowl, very cheap.

So i strongly recommend everyone to try the ABC, it definitely is the best in Brunei. If you don't like ABC, you can also try the chicken rice, which is also very nice probably because of the 'sayur masin' added to it, pic below:

Great day? Bad day?

Just like the title says, today can be a good and also a bad day for me...

First let me talk about bad things:
1) Today i have to do lots of lots of lots of lots of... photocopying using different colour papers. It was so tiring because i have to go up and down stairs about 30 times to photocopy, and then bind the documents. The piles of papers makes me dizzy, i have to say i photocopy approximately more than 500 pieces of papers or even more.

2) I went to post office to ask about my parcel which took a long time in mailing from USA and then still not arrived after about 1 and a half month already. Lots of my toy models have yet to arrive. The post office staff told me that i still have to wait for the air mail. As for the sea mail, i still have to wait for about 5 months,WTH!!!! It is a rare spawn that i most look forward to getting and then this news... OMG... Too sad~~~

However, luckily there are still some good things that happened:
1) I get to go out quite early from work before lunch because i asked for permission to go to the post office. After that, i still have some extra time to go to places that i had not been to for ages, and also places i never go before.

2) I had my first visit to RTB and also the pilihan 95.9 office which i always listen to while driving. I also get to meet few of the DJs, which is kind of cool too.

3) Finally and most importantly, i get to go to Mei Kwang to taste my all-time favorite ABC, which i will talk about in the next posting today.

So i guess i am not going to post about my collection today. That will be tomorrow.

I am really tired and sleepy today. So i am only going to do some random post.

Play with colours~

Today after lunch, me and my friend went shopping at the shop nearby since there was still a lot of time left. Then i walk past a bookshelf and this magazine caught my attention:

I flipped through the magazine and then saw this page in the second picture above. It reminds me of my room so we started to discuss about designs. That is why i decided to talk about how i decided on my room painting last time.

One day i wanted to move my room to the one below because it's much more bigger. But before i stay in, i decided to paint my room in a different way, not the usual plain colour all over the room. So i came up with a few design to make my room more attractive. Well, i actually like to make simple designs.

This is the image i made, it is seperated into four parts;
Upper right combination of all my favorite colours- black, white, orange and silver (since there is not silver, i used gray),
Upper left is like reflection type,
Lower right is my favorite design, it cant be seen clearly here, it has many sprinkles of green over the lines which i wanted to use glow-in-the-dark to paint, Lower left is orange boxes outlines on white background.

So from here i have to choose, it's pretty easy cos one rule in Chinese beliefs- no black paint for painting walls. That means two are out and then the combination colours need four different paint, so once again CROSS. That left me with one choice so this is what i drew before painting:

The outcome after painting is not up to my expectation, it's not satisfying enough but still acceptable. The major mistake is that the orange colour i used, is not bright enough. The label sample show bright orange but when i paint it is different. Too bad... And another miscalculation is that i ddint't take into account my furniture, so when i arrange my furniture, it blocks the design i made. SEE...

Well, according to Shakespeare- what's done is done. I can only accept it, afterall it's not really that bad, right? I made this another design, getting inspiration from my slipper, LOL but it's true.

Cooking is my dream

This is my second post of the day. Just like my friend suggested, i would like to share another hobby of mine; cooking. I started to love cooking about 8 years ago but during that time, i don't really have any idea on how to cook.

I still remember the first time i cook is fried egg, well, a failure fried egg because that time i heat the wok and then crack in the egg without putting any oil. Then the egg becomes black and stick on the wok. Just as you guessed, i got scold by my parents LOL. But i never gave up!!! I keep learning everytime i cook.

Actually i have dreams(not the dream you get from your sleep) of becoming either a chef or a businessman. I admire those chefs who create nice, tasty dishes to satisfy their customers. I think cooking is an art, a culinary art. So one day i approached my parents, telling them i wished to pick up cooking skills one day and maybe learn to become a chef. However both my parents disagreed because they think it has no bright future.

That is a real disappointment for me, they do not know how much it meant to me. Although i can't fulfill my dream becoming a chef, i still haven't give up because then i will go with my another ambition, that is to be a businessman and hope one day i can own a restaurant, and that way i may fulfill both my dreams.

People(you know who) always ask me how can you be a chef if you can't cook? WHO SAID I CAN'T? My dishes may not be as good as restaurants but i know it is up to the standard. So don't come criticizing, saying it will makes you get diarrhea, it will taste awful... without even tasting it before. I can 100% guaranteed, it will be far from your expectation. I had cook many times for gatherings, parties and family events. I can even make some of the Dim Sum.

Cooking Master Boy is an anime based on China, with a mixture of both reality and fantasy. The story is about legendary cooking utensils and also competitions to be the best in culinary fields. Anime-lovers and cooking-lovers will definitely enjoy this anime.

Just as i promised, i am back to blog more about my favourite toy models. Basically, i love every piece of my models but out of all, i still have a few that is my favorites, just like these:

Spawn 7

DESCRIPTION FROM Spawn.com
"Spawn VII (boxed set) is 9 5/8 inches to the top of the throne. The figure is articulated at the neck, both shoulders, both forearms, right wrist, hips, right shin and left ankle for a total of 10 joints. This is the first ever spawn that makes totally attracted to it immediately when i first see it's picture somewhere. I had been searching for it for a long long time, 5 years... After 5 years then only i get the chance to buy it online and it also become my first ever spawn imported from oversea, and also the most expensive. That is why it is the most valuable spawn to me.

It is also a very rare figure in a way that it is a very highly-seek figure to the point that it was being re-produce a couple of time, and it takes only a while for it to be sold out. It can rarely be seen in shop anymore.

Another spawn figure which is also my favourite is Mandarin Spawn 2. Ironically, this figure i owned also comes from oversea, that is; i asked my cousin to help me buy from KL then bring it over to Brunei. It is a huge 12-inch figure which looks wonderful for display due to figure features intricate detail and paint applications with dragon-carving armor. It is yet another figure that run out-of-stock real fast but fortunately i don't have to wait as long as 5 years this time, i had my target on immediately as soon as it was released. Another special feature of it is that, it is CHINESE.

Displaying tips

Today i want to give some tips to those who like displaying things. You might seen it before but still i think it is very effective. All you need is a long roll of aluminum foil like the second one shown in the pic below:

Then you have to cut the appopriate length and press it until it crinkle and stick it as your background-

The effect will be like this if there is light:

See the differences? The light will be reflected by the silver aluminum background making it glows and the display will looks better. Some more proof:

Today's happening

Today starts off like usual, go to work, sit there and wait for lunch... Sounds boring right?

Well, not after lunch. Cos during lunchtime, me and zinc went to Excapade at Serusop. A long journey from our work place; Muara port. But it's worth it cos we get to enjoy our favourite food and also meet some old friends from ITB.

First we saw leena, and zinc ask her who else is coming, she said iqah and SHIKIN. OMG "SHIKIN"! You know when i heard that name i know i will get some big reactions and it's true everyone know zinc is always over-reacting and sometimes shikin does too, HAHAHAHAHA... They tends to say, "OMGGGGGG~~~ *name*~~~ " when they haven't seen each other for a long time. LOL, but it's nice though, i kinda miss this kind of reaction and it's nice to see them.

P.S. Shirley is even more exaggerating in reacting and expressing. LOL, hope you read this Miss Momo.

AFTER BACK FROM LUNCH
After lunch, i went back to work and was invited to join the other staffs at the newly open "Serasa Passenger Ferry Terminal", waiting the arrival of the minister.

Definition of hobby

My hobby is collecting toys models. Toy models come in different names, some like to call it action figures, some call it miniatures, display toys, and many just call it toys. As for me, i prefer calling them 'models'. Toy models have values, you might be able to sell it for some cash if you got something that is rare. That is why some people collect it for this purpose while others just for pure interest and hobby.

My love for models are just.............. indescribable. It started sometimes 5 years ago. Many people commented that it is just a waste of money, time, space and so on. Ya, i know many does not appreciate what i collect and even ask me to stop. WHY? I have my own likings, i won't stop just because of some criticism, i will continue collecting models as long as i am still here. It might seems childish to some people but i believe there are people out there who share the same interest as me and also people who can appreciate my collections; just like "some" of my friends. (You know who you are and thanks)

It does feel good when people look at your collection and say, " yea this is nice." Or they can even comment that they like some while dislike some. I will still appreciate it since they are giving comments. However for those who just say "that's just waste of money." That is totally unacceptable. If you think so, just keep it to youself!

As you can see from the sidebar, my most wanted models list are up. Those are some models that i hope i can get one day. And i would like to talk about one of that which is the 'Spawn 5':-

This is the original spawn 5 which is one of the most favorite spawn.

But what i really want to share with is this:

This is the rarest of all the spawns. There are only FIVE in the world, which one of the five is owned by Todd McFarlane, the owner. So that means there are only 4 left to be sold.

What makes it so special is that the cape of the spawn is white and red in colour. The white itself makes it special because all of the spawns have only completely red cape. There might be many version of spawns all over the world, nothing compare to this extremely limited exclusive model. If someone can keep this model for years, i wonder how much they can sell it for in the future.

What are the reasons?

I have been thinking for the whole day, what is it should i put in my blog? What can i do to make my blog more interesting? What this, what that...

So finally i decided to share my interests in collecting models and also my interest in food here in this blog. So do expect a lot on these will be seen in the future. I too will share any interesting experiences in encountered.

Dunno what else to say... afterall i am still new here, and had spent lot of time learning how to customize the blog, please do share with me any advices or ideas which can improve my blog.
